    Redirecting

Everytime I go to volconvo.com it ends up sending me to http://www.volconvo.com/forums/content.php and telling me:

    vBulletin Message

Dieval, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

    1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
    2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

    Any idea's?

This is odd, Dieval. You're a "Registered User" so there should be no issues. When did this start happening?

I don't know the exact date, but at least a 2-3 weeks ago. This happens on different computers as well...it's very odd.

Does it happen every time you log in, Dieval. Or is the issue intermittent?

It seems to be every time.

Dieval, let me suggest that you "Log Out", by clicking on the Log Out link in the upper right corner. Then clear your browser history. Then open Volconvo at http://www.volconvo.com. Then Log In again. Let's see if we can determine if the issue is with the Volconvo site or your browser.

    Let me know what happens.

    Barts,

I logged in and clicked the logout button to make sure I was out. I cleared out the history, cookies, etc, then closed down and restarted IE. Going to http://www.volconvo.com/ takes me to http://www.volconvo.com/forums/content.php and asks me to register or login:

    vBulletin Message

Have you registered? If not click here (it's free).

You are not logged in or you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1.You are not logged in. Fill in the form at the bottom of this page and try again.
2.You may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
3.If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.
.The administrator may have required you to register before you can view this page..
    Username:
    Password:

When I sign in from there, it goes back to the same path, but now it knows who I am:

From there, if I hit the logout button, it says:

    vBulletin Message
    All cookies cleared!
•Return to the page you were previously viewing
    •Go to forums index

Then, if I plug in http://www.volconvo.com I get the same message above: Dieval, you do not have permission to access this page....

Very odd... Usually what I do at this point is click on the "Forum" link and it will take me in...but just going to http://www.volconvo.com I get the weird messages.

You're the second person to report getting that message trying to click on certain links in the forum. It could be a permissions setting that isn't quite right, but it doesn't seem consistent or widespread enough to confirm that suspicion.

It happens to me too. Started about 2-3 weeks ago.

So, I just logged out and logged in with my test Username and experienced the same issue. I'll check with the company that did the upgrade to the latest version of the software.

Please, check the access now to the "Home" page.

It seems that during the upgrade process, the "Home" page became "unpublished". It's now "published" and ready for prime time.

Looks better...I've tried twice and haven't seen the "vBulletin Message" that was showing before. It's going to the main page now.

    Thanks!
