The latest version of Volconvo's software allows us to more easily promote members' threads and posts to articles on the home page, and still retain the original thread for comments and debate.

Over the next week, we'll be testing how these new features work.

With this new capacity now available, I would like to encourage members to, from time to time, consider composing thoughtful and provocative longer OPs for new threads that are well argued, well reasoned, and well written that might make good front page articles. Including images or videos in the OPs would be welcome.

I'm aware that threads based on longer OPs take more time to compose, but many members on Volconvo have intriguing insights into issues-of-the-day; these views deserve greater exposure, in my opinion.
