Recent slow site performance and solution

Over the last few days, Volconvo has been becoming less responsive causing a decline in the quality of users' experiences. I've been in contact with ServInt, Volconvo's hosting service, to discuss the issue. The reason for the problem is that the number of people visiting Volconvo has been steadily increasing, as has their length of stay.

So, the "problem" is actually good news. To solve the problem, we'll be upgrading the servers and resources available to Volconvo. The upgrade should happen very quickly and should cause little or no disruption.

I was wondering if we share a server with another high-volume account. Forums can really put a hit on a host and a shared server. Good to hear a fix is imminent.

ServInt, the Volconvo hosting company, reports the service upgrade has been completed. The upgrade doubles the available RAM, and increases bandwidth by 50%.

We'll continue to monitor site speed and add resources as necessary to insure a high quality user experience.
