    Reducing spam

One possible way of reducing spam (http://www.volconvo.com/forums/polit...-internet.html) would be to force NOFOLLOW on all hrefs.

    Just a suggestion.

Another way for us to fight spam would be for the members of the forum to report the posts direct to the moderators as soon as they spot it. We're actually pretty good at spotting/catching it usually, but if you do see a spam post do not respond to it on the thread but instead press the report icon, and the moderators will deal with ASAP.

Ah, my apologies, I'm new here and hadn't yet realised what the little yellow triangle was for.

My suggestion was more to discourage spammers up front; if they see NOFOLLOWs they'll be less likely to post, as they know no search engines will follow the href.

    Thanks for the feedback.
