So mods can delete posts?

I just noticed I had a post deleted in the FBI data thread. All I did was sarcastically respond to milton bradly and his typical response about 1984 or government conspiracy.

So I'm not allowed to be sarcastic back to people? Or is there certain rules to it?

Would saying this site is becoming a semi-1984 society be against the rules?

Firstly, moderation issues are to be handled via PM. Secondly, post deletions by the team are extremely rare. Perhaps you should be inquiring about what actually happened privately rather than speculating about conspiracies publicly?

Helio, the post that was deleted was a duplicate post. You posted the same content in consecutive posts, and we removed the first one.
