Asisted suicide is actually legal in a few countries (japan, switzerland, canada, new zeland, and more).

There is nothing fundamentally worng with assisted suicides or euthanization, especially for the terminally ill. There is a question of morality to it, but seeing as how our perception of what is moral is derrived from one's belief, it should be up to the patient weather or not to committ suicide.
