When a study revealed that mercury in childhood vaccines may have caused autism in thousands of kids, the government rushed to conceal the data - and to prevent parents from suing drug companies for their role in the epidemic.

Whose feet need to be held to the fire in this case? The Pharma companies? The Bureaucrats? The Politicians?

Basically, according to the US Public Health Service, the government has been warning that vaccines which contain thimerosal should be discontinued until further information has been researched.

In other words, sorry PatrickHenry, this ain't a conspiracy. First its still not conclusive. Second, the government has been warning people since 1999.

The risks of not getting one's kids vaccinated continues to be higher than the risks of vaccination. Multiple studies have not found any relationship between vaccines and autism.

Interesting, at least to me, one of the sceptics of these studies is Representative Dave Weldon, R Florida, an MD, who also asserted, that in his professional opinion, Terri Schiavo was not in a persistant vegetative state.

I don't mind when people raise concerns... but my step mom is an OB-GYN Nurse, and she sees these ladies come in and they refuse to immunize or at least.. try too, thier kids based on junk science. The real danger is not immunizing the kids.

I haven't weighed in because I have no idea. I don't have the education to comment. But...
