Post it there. . . . whenever any government becomes destructive to these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to institute a new government, laying its foundations on such principles and organizing its powers in such forms as to them shall seem most likely to effect their safety and happiness. |

I was reporting about a development in Florida; a number of these issues have cropped in the course of debate. All I gotta say is the only way that these couples will prevail is if the SCOFLA scofflaws, the same ones who along with the media helped Al Gorebachev in his attempted theft of Election 2000, decide to defy the state law that defines marriage as one man one woman. And then they would be lawbreakers just like Gavin Newsom in San Francisco. Yet even then a federal court will likely uphold the state law as it stands. |
