It was insane for Japan to attack a U.S. military installation. It was insane for the U.S. to attack Japan before that economically. It is all insane. There is no reason. The war itself solved nothing except gave the U.S. license to terrorize a larger part of the world.

Hey you seem upset that people can act insane. I have no idea why. You do live on earth don't you? But say anything you like, Japan is now a peaceful country. In that particular case of insanity it worked out well.

Hitler was supported by the powerful of the world as a bulwark against democracy. There was a fear that workers were going to realize that workers did not have to be slaves and people like Hitler were supported to make sure that the lower classes lost the class war.

Yah - why didn't we just think of sitting down with the japs. They were obviously a reasonable lot - with the bloody kamikazi bombings and attacks of our cities. Good grief you are stupid. gorgo.. at this point it's clear that you are not concerned with your previous statements that japan was considering surrender. those statements were nothing more than a ruse to hide behind.. your only position is that all killing, all war is wrong, and therefore nobody should participate in it. by your own logic, nobody should participate even if that means that you have to kill in order to survive. given mankind's violent tendencies, that is not a realistic opinion whatsoever.

You keep repeating the same thing without anything to back up your statements. As I've shown, Japan was ready to surrender. Even if that were not true, killing hundreds of thousands of people is barbaric. One does not have to be against all war to agree that this is a crime against humanity.

All the bombing did was to slaughter hundreds of thousands of people and destroy several square miles for how many years. You were ready to condemn the Yugoslavians for much less than that.
