See, this is why I try not to answer the stupid questions. Instead of talking about the topic and the real and valuable question of wage disparity, by LetThereBe suggesting that perhaps killing the "useless non-producers" is a reasonable means to an end, the whole thread is now mired in a discussion of useless bullshit, like what defines a Nazi and what defines left-wing. LetThereBe got a bunch of shit to stick to the wall and now everyone is simply facinated with the shit on the wall. Its about the same as a football player taunting an opposing lineman by suggesting his baby sister is a whore and getting him angry and hyped, and getting his head out of the game. I tried not to fall for it, but I failed.

All I see when I look down, something jumpin' on the ground, Scratchin' dirt, cluckin' in the barnyard -
Tell me, could that be you?

    Yes you did.

Hitler said: "I want everyone to keep what he has earned, subject to the principle that the good of the community takes priority over that of the individual. But the State should retain control; every owner should feel himself to be an agent of the State ... The Third Reich will always retain the right to control property owners."[152]
    Sound like anyone you know?
Yes, yes it does sound like certain people on here... just like his Anti-capitalism stance I posed.

    Did I miss something?
Yes, you missed the fact that despite Hitler's anti-capitalist rhetoric, which was used more in the pre-1929 era before the party became "respectable," the Nazis were, first and foremost, anti-Communist. Hitler wormed his way into the Chancellorship by claiming to be the only alternative to the Communists, and then got the Enabling Act passed with the actions of Communists as an excuse. Not to mention that when he took power the first thing he did was throw members of the communist party and the social democratic party into the first concentration camps.

Seriously, anyone who can look at the history of the Third Reich and claim the Nazis were in any way, shape, or form left-wing is either ignorant or just so locked into a warped mind-state as to be wholly incapable of independent thought.

But enough about the Nazis. As Lbskins pointed out, they are not at issue here (and I have to confess I'm very vulnerable to discussing them because that's a period of history in which I have great interest).

The simple fact is that when an economy becomes too top-heavy, when too many resources are concentrated in too few hands, it will become more unstable and unhealthy. The events of the Depression and the recent economic crisis both unequivocally prove that fact.

The wholehearted refusal of certain posters to acknowledge any problems with the current lopsided wealth distribution provides support for the argument that conservatism is nothing more or less than the philosophical justification of greed.

But truth, Hajjaj was convinced, held many layers.

I never stated anyone was a communist, but the "
National Socialism (common English short form Nazism, German: Nationalsozialismus) ideology of the Nazi Party and Nazi Germany" sounds very similar to people here....sorry, but like I said, if the shoe fits..

The second sentence from that link:

Nazism used elements of the far-right racist völkisch German nationalist movement and the anti-communist Freikorps paramilitary culture that fought against the communist revolutionaries in post-World War I Germany.[6] The ideology was designed to draw workers away from communism and into völkisch nationalism.[7]
Very, very left-wing...obviously...now you're doing more to provide support for the idea that American conservatives are highly ignorant than that the Nazis were left-wing...

But truth, Hajjaj was convinced, held many layers.

Please don't put words in my mouth. I've not said one word about any wing, left or right, in regards to anything. I just pointed out that the Nazi party anti-capitalism/pro-socialism ideology sounds EXTREMELY similar to the ideology of certain members here.. I know you're trying to deflect that back at me, but if you don't see the similarities I've pointed out than you're being willfully ignorant.

Uh, I'm not putting words in your mouth. I'm simply taking stuff out of the link you posted. And please, don't try to tell me you're trying to refer to someone other than our left-wing members.

    Now, again:

I have designed a new game, whenever you talk about Nazis being left-wing I will go through the wiki article and have a shot for every time it says right wing, far right and conservative. Damn thats gonna take a lot of drink.

    Now, again:
Whatever wing you want to associate my comments with, I really don't care. The people you seem to be referring to as "left-wing" have adamantly objected to being called "left-wing" in the past (go figure), so call them whatever you want...but whatever you call them, the shoe fits.

Yes, in the sense that you can put a size six foot into a size twelve shoe...
