Inequality in Gender, Race & Ethnicity

What are your thoughts on the Inequality in Gender, Race & Ethnicity?

Have you ever experienced inequality/discrimination/prejudice/stereotyping based on your gender/race/ethnicity?

For women, have you experienced being treated differently in work place? especially in male-dominated workplace? How do you feel about it? What do you think can be done about it?

For Ethnic Minority, have you ever experienced being treated unfairly because of race-based discrimination? Did you ever find it hard to find jobs because of it? How do you feel about it?

DO you think your education, occupation, lifestyle and key life choices have been impacted greatly by your social background? In what Ways?

Thanks! I will really appreciate your answers.

Yes. I'm a white, English Male. It is assume because I'm white I can't dance. It's assumed because I'm English I have bad teeth, like the Royal family or enjoy a nice bit of football thuggery. It's assumed because I'm male that I lousy around the house, all I care about is sex (it's not the only thing, it may be one of the more important things...) and that I'm predisposed to expensive car accidents.

But then, it's also been assumed that I easy to push around because I wear glasses (sometimes). It's also been assumed by others that I'm liable to start fights (or steal from them) because they recognise my Northern accent, providing I'm wearing my contacts of course.

It's also been assumed because I'm a banker that I'm rich, stealing your money and eat babies at the weekend. I'm not, I don't and only on special occaisions.

Have any of the above hindered me in anyway? Who knows. I don't care. If you don't want me for your job, it's your loss. If you assume I'm weak because of my glasses, test me, years of kickingboxing will demonstrate otherwise. If you think less of me for my profession, that's your problem for being so pig ignorant of what I do.

It's my life and I don't force it on others. If others don't like me for who I am then they are nothing to me and their opinions less.

My brother has made women belong in the kitchen jokes to me, and made comments implying that I wouldn't like something, or wouldn't do something, or whatever because I'm a girl (such as get overly emotional, or talk too much during football games). I think that's pretty much it, though.
