....there's definitely an agenda for some gay folks...
Conversely, it's the case that there's an agenda for some straight folks.
What, exactly, do you think constitutes the "homosexual agenda?"

..it seems like there's still some debate going on there... Queer by Choice dot com seems like a good example, although i didn't explore the site very thoroughly..
From the wikipedia article "Biology and Sexual Orientation,"

No simple, single cause for sexual orientation has been conclusively demonstrated, but research suggests that it is by a combination of genetic, hormonal, and environmental influences,[1] with biological factors involving a complex interplay of genetic factors and the early uterine environment.
    Hardly a "choice."

I never said there was..however, people are entitled to their own views and if people choose to believe homosexuals are wrong, then so be it. That doesn't make them evil...now if they went out and started murdering homosexuals, THAT would qualify as evil.
Well, I actually don't agree with the assertion that homophobes or anti-homosexual people are evil.

Remember how you brought up Hitler earlier? Guess what his opinion on homosexuality was.

From Nazism - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia:

The Nazis officially declared that homosexuality was contrary to "wholesome popular sentiment", identifying gay men as "defilers of German blood". The Nazi régime incarcerated some 100,000 homosexuals during the 1930s.[134] As concentration camp prisoners, homosexual men were forced to wear pink triangle badges.[135][136]

But truth, Hajjaj was convinced, held many layers.

I don't think disagreeing or disapproving of a gay lifestyle is "evil", any more so than disagreeing or disapproving of a carnivorous lifestyle by vegetarians is evil.

No and yes. There are varying degrees of homophobia; not all people are scared of or dislike gays to the same level; some just dislike them and are uncomfortable, others to the extent of wanting to prosecute and have them sentenced to death.

    There is a spectrum.

Evil - profoundly immoral, malevolent, injurious.

Homophobia - an irrational fear of homosexuals and homosexual activity.

Homophobes can certainly be malevolent and injurious to innocent people, and I believe it is immoral to obsessively hate a group of people whose worst sin is frequently choosing the path of the interior decorator - irrational fear can hurt a lot of people. I believe it is moral to tolerate and not be irrationally afraid of all people as much as you can. It's a strange concept, I know, but I believe most fear is immoral.

To justifiably despise someone, you should get to know them a bit first. What, specifically, do they do? How do they think? Why are they doing it? I can despise Victoria Jackson because she's clearly a fearful person. I can despise Fred Phelps because... he needs to get a life.

The more you complain, the less I care about your problems.

Basically, to shove their acceptance down everyone's throat and chastise people for having any different opinions of homosexuality.

Quote removed because someone got their feelings hurt. (boo hoo)

Yep. I think that pretty much sums it up.

Intolerant people aren't a bunch of poor innocent victims who are capable of existing in the company of others if not for prevailing attitudes.

Contrary to popular belief, homosexuals are not an imperialistic race bent on stamping out all others.

In fact, I'd say that's completely backwards and that somebody is projecting a little.

The more you complain, the less I care about your problems.

I doubt homosexuals would be as annoying if they weren't pushing for marriage rights and.... and for whatever else they're pushing for. What are they pushing for? Is it just marriage rights?

Anyways, I wish we'd resolve the gay issues quickly.

Succinctly put, to be treated like normal people and not freaks, I think.

You could care less could you?

Not just ''treated as'', but accepted as, both legally and mentally in the minds of all people, so that if anyone even thinks gays aren't ''normal'', he/she would be chastised and labeled as an ignorant bigot and...yes, a freak.
