But they're the most vocal type of gay, so that's the only experience of homosexuals that some people will get. The gay pride marches get a lot of news coverage and attention because they're full of freaks, whereas the millions of gays who act 'normal' get no attention for that very reason: they're normal, mundane and hence not newsworthy.

I think that stuff adds fuel to the fire, but many people are just being cautious. They have to figure it all out for themselves. In time it won't even be an issue, but we're in the infancy stages with it being the norm.

Homosexuality wasn't accepted for longer than it has been, so it takes time to resolve itself. Gays don't like this, and it's understandable, but this is just the way human nature works.

The brain scan is showing that gays are born that way, so how would a vaccine work? Not getting that. Thing is you'd have to want to get the vaccine cause it's not a catchy disease.

First of all, a vaccine is injecting a weakened virus into the organism that won't cause disease but will cause the b-cells to divide into two types of cells, some to fight the infection then, and memory cells to produce the antibodies immediately the next time the organism is exposed to the virus.

Also, homosexuality isn't a disease. It isn't caused by any pathogen at all. Saying that homosexuality is a disease is just plain silly.

So what is it? a brain tumor? The scan clearly shows there is something wrong with the "legit" homosexual's brain. Just like any brain malfunction or deformation soon scientist will try changing the bad gene and replace it with a good one. I am not saying it will happen soon, but science is making progress in DNA modifications. Maybe vaccine was the wrong word.

....You have no idea what your talking About do you?

The study showed that simply the brain sizes matched, not that they had a tumor or anything. If you read the article, you would know this. Really, it's just the development of the brain. It's not a deformity or a malfunction, it's simply the brain developed to that size, likely affecting the persons orientation when they are born. If you try to stop the person from having that brain size, it will likely affect the fetus' growth and cause problems. Look, Just because you don't like homosexuality (according to your vote on the poll) doesn't mean that people should go around trying to stop it while affecting the fetus's in other ways as well just because people don't like it, deal.

I really doubt it. This is a very trivial matter to change. It's not hugely defective. This is seriously like trying to fix blue eye color because it isn't brown enough like the majority.

Let me explain in a different way.
The study suggests homo males have smaller brain then hetero males, and homo females have bigger brain then hetero females. So there is something wrong with one of the genes, just lke Down sysdrome where chromosome 21 is duplicated incorrectly. So why do you think scientist would not try to indetify whick gene is falty and try to fix it? in the near future this could be a choice the parents make and more likelly the extinction of homosexuals.

Well Rog, homosexuality isn't harmful to the organism, it doesn't really impair it in anyway. They can do everything a heterosexual can. Trying to turn off one gene just because it's different from the majority is just silly. Imagine if people tried to do that to stop people from having a brown skin color, since it was looked upon by many people to be worse at one time. Besides, we shouldn't mess with a genome for something as small as sexual orientation, since we could do great harm in other areas if we did.

I notice you understand what I am saying better now.
But again skin color, eye color, hair color is a hereditary, homosexualism is not. Do you really think scientinst don't play with genomes now? cloning is old news. I am very sure parent in the future will be able to choose certain things they would like thier kids to have and not to have. If you had children wouldn't you want them to have perfect genes?
