Off topic? Au contraire. We're illustrating the fallaciousness of the reasoning that allowing gay marriage will open the door for men to marry their cats. Obviously, cats prefer other cats.

Heh. Deja vu on this thread...

Amazing it's still sticky.

We are lacking an opposing side right now...

Anyone want to find dissenters? Or play one?

Sure.

But homosexuals are gay! Everyone knows that if you are gay you can't tell the difference between a man and a woman! Why do you think gay men like gay men? If gays can't tell the difference between a man and a woman, how can they tell the differences between men, women and cats (both man cats and women cats!)?????

Fine.

Do homosexuals damage the family unit?
If so, is the family unit importent?

Rephrasing the question right back atcha: How do homosexuals damage the family unit? Before you answer, I recommend you review postings by Dirty Name in this thread first and see if you can come up with something new. Members of this thread have pretty much countered/disproved each argument Dirty Name laid bare.

Just a friendly pointer so we're not rehashing old arguments.

I think it is to many people. Beyond traditional family units, there are families of our own creation, too.

Not true. I used pure logic to come to that conclusion

Sorry, I thought it was ridiculous enough to not be taken seriously. I'll be sure to add some kind of smiley next time. I'm sure at least one person somewhere actually thinks my joke is true (maybe not the cat part, but about gays not knowing the difference), so I don't blame you for thinking someone actually might believe what I said.

I can only hope they don't admit it here.

The people I want to hear from are the 93 that voted homosexuality is morally wrong...

*Cracks Knuckles*

I think it should be kind of an unsaid rule that people post what they voted for at the end of their posts in a poll thread.

- A civil rights issue. Anyone should be able to marry anyone.

Hahaha, no problem. I noticed after the first time I voted that the numbers were links, so I clicked on one and found out that every vote is public... Surprise!

O, that will bring up controversy, even though it appears to be in support. Many gay people say it wasn't a choice.
