| Reddit & Digg: Where's the Right? Part of my daily news fix includes Reddit and Digg. Both, as most volconvites likely know, are sites where people post links that, in their view, others should check out. They are not controlled by the "liberal media", but are the voluntary postings of people on the 'net, and so must be a true reflection of the political views of people on the 'net. Under political topics, both sites are overwhelmingly dominated by pro-liberal, progressive, Democratic links. Where's the Right? Where're the Conservatives? Where're the Evangelicals? There's no censorship, so where are these folks? Perhaps, they're not on the 'net. Thoughts? Comments? Doubt is not a pleasant condition, but certainty is absurd - Voltaire |

| So should Digg or Reddit do anything about it, in your view? For example, make sure more Right Wing articles appear? Affirmative action for conservatives? Your thoughts? Doubt is not a pleasant condition, but certainty is absurd - Voltaire |

| Never heard of Reddit, but I know Digg buries stories. YouTube - BURIED BY DIGG -- VIACOM VS YOU Heres an account of a very important story being buried on Digg. Quote:

| Rolling your own reddit I saw your question about the dearth of right-leaning social news sites and wanted to recommend that you try creating your own public reddit. reddits/create You'll be the admin and can pick moderators as well. This will give you a blank slate on which to create the social news site you have in mind. Email feedback at reddit if any issues come up and we'll do our best to resolve them. cheers, Alexis |

| Inquisitor | My perception is that these services are used heavily by younger people (18-30), people who aren't as political and are often more liberal in general than their parents. Even on a service like Friendfeed, the people I follow, mostly geeks in their 30s and early 40s, are pretty liberal as a whole when it comes to social and political topics. |
