O My God, what a healthy dirty mind could make of that name!

Today's ideological enemies may be tomorrow's allies, and vice versa. So be nice to your enemies, you may need their help tomorrow.

Those terms are so relative. Seems to me the more intellectual you believe you are, the more you must realize you don't know, but it sounds like you guys think you've reached the top. Elitism.

Wow. What does intellectualism actually yield? A degree. A good job. Money. survival, dinner, home made clothes, safe house, room and board at the Vatican, a nuclear bomb

Seems to me we're all intellectuals. From the streets of LA to a tobacco town in North Carolina. We are all thinking man. Why is the knowledge you possess greater than the knowledge of another unless it can extend your existence? Seems to me, there isn't much difference between the intellects and nonintellects, they all die. The only intellect that reaches elitism, is the one who could intellectually correctly perceive beyond death and realize it.

I don't believe we all are intellectuals, but I believe anyone who wishes to be can be. An intellectual is someone who values thinking and anyone can alter their values.

I was not aware of the altering values part of the definition of intellect. Are you sure about that part? I thought it had to do with reasoning. One who reasons rather than rationalize. Wouldn't rationalizing more likely change your values?
