if they're gunna ban full countries and restrict athletes from living the ultimate athlete dream, then what the hell is left of the olympics? What ever happened to the glory of all these countries, despite economic downfalls, wars, corruption and all the other shit going on, putting all of the problems aside and competing together in unity?

It's because the althletes are forced to compete, there is no spirit in competitions where a country forces a person to be a gymnast or a ballerina, or a swimmer. Games are for fun not for countries to gain fame on the suffereing and opression of their people. That is why they are banned, and who's stopping the banned countries form having their own games? Saving the empovershed by empoverishing their counterparts will empoverish the whole.

Well perhaps they are, but they are all bound by the same set of rules. I know a couple of althletes can't change their leaders, but without those rules we would have more althetels that don't want to be there. Saving the empovershed by empoverishing their counterparts will empoverish the whole.
