MJ most of them were probably nurses and secretarys, or working with logistical support, and still their numbers are a drop in the bucket compared to the amount of men who took part.
I'd take that as a slap in the face to all female war veterans. Nice going!

I'm sure they are trembling.

Do you lack debating skills? Debate or you are spamming.

Spamming is something entirely different, MJ.

And it's my not-so-humble-opinion that the two of you had better tone down the rhetoric and debate from now on.

I suggest you start at the beginning of the thread and find something you'd like to debate other than what we've already covered.

You are new here. How was I to know you were joking? Mind using an emoticon next time?

Typically when people hold something dear to them, they don't treat it with a cavalier attitude. Especially discrimination.

And if you'd read the rest of the thread, Boris, you'd see people who would say that statement in all seriousness.

So please. Remember that tone of voice is almost impossible to detect....smilies are there for a reason.

Exactly how am I spamming? I'm raising a genuine, widely-held viewpoint within the male ferret community. Just because I don't happen to agree with your feminist agenda, doesn't mean I'm spamming.
Wielding the word agenda as a weapon doesn't work very well. When you say feminists have an agenda, it shows that you have an agenda against feminism.

Not to mention fighting for equal rights is not a bad agenda.

Well of course we have agendas. We have a lot of ground to cover in our Ladies' Knitting Circle and Terrorist Planning Retreats... we'd never get it all done if we didn't have organization....

Without anmon, who do we argue against?

All I have left is to ask maryjane if she thinks woman should be drafted?

Hahaha thank goodness.

But there are a couple of genuine issues. Romantic relationships conflicting with orders, as well as men being chivalrous when they shouldn't.

I'm not saying women shouldn't serve on the frontline, but there is some debate.

(oh and I'm in the chat room)

If a man wants to be chivalrous, he can.
Girls like it. If he wants a girl to like him, then its one way to make a good impression.

WW.. Men and women already work together as prison guards. They can't afford not to take their job seriously.

haha. just realised you were reffering to on the battle feilds..

If a Romantic relationship contradics with orders, then the couple can make a decision.
Go home, or follow orders.
The same as anyone else who has a problem with orders.

By chivalry do you mean jumping in front of bullets and protecting females on the battle field?
It should be made clear that they arn't expected to do that. If they choose to anyway, then it wouldn't be any different to dying for a mate. Its their choice.

I'm wondering if WW is concerned about fragging?

It's how the troops deal with members of their platoon they don't care for. Numerous "accidents" have been attributed to this practice.

Not to go off topic but this is fragging: Frag (military - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)

Consider that it's the "brotherhood" that binds soldiers. They are stripped of their individuality in boot camp and built back up as one unit.

Actually I was more concerned with a CO sending his lover's boy friend/husband to his death so he could get the girl.
