Is this rumor, racist or just a valid exercise of Freedom of Speech

It was very offensive and the guys an obvious a$$hole, but you have to admit you did laugh. So which was is it hate speech, rumor or just good old exercising of freedom of speech?

I didn't look at it because frankly, I didn't care, but seriously, I don't believe there's any such thing as "hate speech". Anything you say is likely to offend someone and that's just too bad, there is no right whatsoever not to be offended. If you don't like it, don't listen, but you do not have the right to stop someone from exercising their right to free speech just because you don't like what they're saying.

That's not hate speech, that's a physical threat. We already have laws regarding physical threats, we don't need to tack on the ridiculous concept of hate speech to it.

Huge Opie & Anthony fan/friend of the show. He's on whenever he's in NY. Also friends with Joe Rogan.

Not all of his comedy is based on racism, some of it is just other disgusting stuff.

Offensiveness of a joke does not have any impact on it's humorousness.

I wasn't "crying," just addressing likely scenarios that others willfully ignore.
The choice here is pretty dramatic: Either support the relatively free flow of people or support ever-greater steps toward tyrannical government.
Some will immediately call this a false dichotomy, but there is evidence to support this claim, provided even by your depersonalization of struggling Mexicans and the demands for increased harassment of "undocumented" people. These are effectively calls for increased conflicts, thuggery, xenophobia, class distinctions, nationalist hysteria, etc. etc. The government and you don't want me to see migrants as people with actual needs, but simply as threats that need to either "pass through the proper channels" or be stamped out. That's tyranny, plain and simple.

As for corruption in Mexico, Mexicans are addressing it on a regular basis, which you would know if you actually paid attention to that country. Also, heightened corruption in Mexico (or anywhere else) doesn't mean people should remain there at the very real risk of starving to death.

Given those two choices, give me the tyrannical government any time. Of course, those aren't really the choices, you're just trying to make it look that way because you're an anarchist, but we already knew that.

I just want them to enforce the existing laws of the land, period. You want no laws anywhere.

Well, if those aren't basically the choices, please elaborate on why. Obviously, what you advocate would make life considerably worse for more than few people. Why do you advocate what would undoubtedly be police state measures and mass deportation?
