We are not EforE\killing someone who is innocent, we are not taking someone's life or equal damage against their will, such as this person originally did.... these people have already proven disregard for their fellow citizen, therefore, why should we apply equal punishment and justice on those responsible?

although i accept this issue is purely opinion and for the record i have not made my choice... i would ask this what about the clinically insane or mentally ill... if they commit murder, do we kill them? i vote send them into care...

Stopping to their level? I don't see it as such, rather just reflecting a crime onto those who enacted it..... if they did not commit the crime in the first place, then they would not have to worry about the consiquences. As for mentally challenged cases..... as above.... each situation would have to be determined case by case, as not all situations in life fall under the same end results. I'm not saying to act this out blindly on everybody who does a crime that is similar..... the severity of the crime, the amount of victims, the amount repeated, the level of disregard for human life/safety, etc.... would all have to be accounted for, respectively. I'm not saying kill all first time offenders, or mentally challenged people, just people such as the one here in this topic, where the person should be of an adult/sound mind, know the consiquences of their actions, and yet continue to disregard all this based on their personal desires in life..... Not everybody deserves the same treatment based on situations. Hope that clarifies my stance. I'm all about compassion with tough love.

That's one of the lamest excuses I have continually heard over the years "Oh, she was teaching him that he could get away with it.... Oh, she was asking for it." Cripes get your head out of the 40's will ya?
