season 5 and 6 sucked big time. It's tripping all over itself trying to be about "more then just the mob". It's become a ridiculous boring soap opera with no real major storyline.

If you want a good show watch The Shield.

i'm still po'd that they decided to cancel rome. that show wiped the floor with all other shows out there right now.

thank god this is the last season of sopranos. thus far, the storyline has developed into some confusing, incoherent ramble.. i'm sure there's going to be more stupidity in future episodes - where at least one of them will be 60 minutes of random flashbacks. and all of a sudden, the feds will get them in the final episode - probably with a couple of the long-time characters getting killed in a big ol' firefight or some such crap.

i don't watch the show for the plot though. i just watch it now for the only redeeming value it has left - the one liners and randomly funny moments.

What's with all this Soprano's sucks shit. The Soprano's is the greatest show on TV (that isn't a comedy)! Your all crazy. I think everyone here hates the Sopranos cause they secretly hate Italians.

i'm half italian, and i don't even like italians..

as far as this season goes, every episode has a completely different plot than the preceding episode. that's in contrast to other series that tend to have a solid storyline across the entire season..

I agree it hasn't been good for sometime, but for some reason I am still drawn to the show.

me too, although i wish that was not the case..

it still has some value points that make it more appealing than the standard cable shows.. still, doesn't make it the greatest either. like i said, sopranos can't hold a candle to rome.

Yea it sucked when Rome was cancelled, but at least the Wire and Entourage are still on.

As if the Italians had a corner on organized crime. To condem someone for disliking the Sopranos is like condemning someone for liking the Godfather because it "stereotypes" Italians as mobsters. Please, peddle it somewhere else. It is fiction.

I personally used to love the show and actually I have enjoyed this season. But like all shows, they eventually lose a step. Sopranos did that over the last 2 season.

i've grown to accept the pointless randomness of that show...

last episode was pretty crazy... especially with that shooting at the end. definitely didn't see that coming.

I like the Sopranos series.

The replays on A&E are just getting to the part when I stopped watching on HBO, and I am anxious to see what I missed.

I also agree.... great writing, superb acting, and great casting and directing.

Actually, its not that bad. They play it late, and usually only cut out direct frontal nudity, and extremely repetitive use of the f word.
