How many stories do we all know about how often young men of Middle Eastern heritage get picked for "random" spot checks in airports? Yet more evidence that we either brick ourselves in, not unlike Montresor and Fortunato, or look to means other than border security to protect ourselves from terrorists. Like maybe not colonizing a country in the Middle East? "Would you like some pie, Dr. Stark?" "Science is my pie. Curiosity, my sweet tooth. Knowledge is my candy." |

Closing off borders and requesting passports to enter, racial profiling people entering the country..... I dunno..... Bush getting the whole country riled up after 9/11 and going on the attack..... now being able to tap your phones, monitor computers, gather information on accounts without warrents..... it's starting to creep me out a bit. |
