Sony Uses Dead Goat in Publicity Stunt

The story was accurate for the most part, and Rick`s post cleared up those parts that weren`t. The thing I like most about it is Sony accepting that the stunt was not a good decsion and I like that that admission has to do with using an animal as a prop.

The other day when Rick questioned the story`s credibility I sent an e-mail to the International Fund for Animal Welfare, which was quoted in the story, asking them to confirm it. I just got a short reply from them and here it is:

Dear Mr. _______

Below are links to various descriptions of the "event". It was one
goat, and it is unknown how or when it was slaughtered.

A good point. At least we can perhaps look forward to progress in this regard because of their ill thought out actions.
