Culture of blame: Who else can we blame?

Feel free to add:

The state for having lax gun laws

The gun store

Prescription drugs

Mentally ill people

The people who were shot, for not being armed

The College police

The English department

The first person who was shot

People who bullied him

The girls who didn't return his compliments when he stalked them

Immigrants

His parents for working too hard

Ourselves, for tolerating such injustice in the name of "justice".

Grow a spine folks.

The media for sensationalizing events such as these. Does it, or does it not make one "famous" in the end because of the extreme amount of hysteria the media creates over the entire issue when events such as these occur? It's sickening.

How about the individual who actually perpetuated the crimes? Blaming everyone and everything but him, is absurd.

Poledancer, you forgot the most obvious culprit: God!

(Or if one is atheist, blame the big bang.)

Edit: and of course... the devil

The English (and all other nations whose social onditions enabled the downtrodden pioneers who where thrown from their own homelands to violate and change the "New World")

The lack of understanding of language which takes the phrase "Right to Bare Arms" and considers it something other than a national right to wear short sleeved shirts in public :)

But speaking of blame, there is nothing wrong with trying to create an understanding of truth. It might benefit society, a nation, others can change their systems to reduce future risks. It's when that truth is misused and for some reason enables rather than learning but litigation to be pursued :)
