Couldn't care less - I follow the game where we don't wear body armour & stop every few seconds. ![]() Think it's got more popularity in Germany & Scandinavia, but in the UK, it's not exactly a feature. I spent a lot of money on booze, birds and fast cars. The rest I just squandered. -George Best, on being asked what he did with his footballing fortunes. |

He actually had to cut down on weights training because it was interfering with his mobility and football skills. And he made 3 of those big hit tackles within 30 seconds against Wales in November. :eek:I spent a lot of money on booze, birds and fast cars. | Cause for Concern Location: Planet Earth Posts: 664 | Yeah, comparisons between a european and a the average american can be unfair. Picture a slightly overweight white dude wearing those cheap neon sunglasses smoking a Marlboro and drinking a budweiser barbecuing some hamburgers in the back of his ford pickup shouting WOOOO!! and Get er done!!! Now picture a european, smoking a cigarette, with his shirt tucked into his pants. I cant really think of anything else to say for the european. | Iceberg Location: Connecticut Posts: 5,691 | It is just the opposite. Racing is a sport and Rugby, football, baksetball are all games. They are called games and racing is termed a sport, specifically a motorsport. I don't think there is any disagreement that auto racing is a motorsport. You may think racers don't need stamina and concentration but indeed they do. And for hours at a time with very few breaks in the action.
