If I can only pick one, then it's Lord of the Rings. There are others, if I'm allowed to choose different movies in different categories.

We have a top ten list somewhere.

Really?

Yeah, I think so too. Terminator didn't even make the list and neither did Jurassic Park. I'm pissed off!

Maybe "Monster." That movie has really incredible acting and it's great realism.

Plus Aileen Wuornos' mother lives in a town about 12 miles from where I am sitting--it brings this movie close to home for me.

I have seen it many times and I always find it entertaining...

That is a good one. I also forgot Ben Hur.

Right on. Though I'd give a vote to "Unforgiven," too.

Honestly picking one just isn't possible, it all depends upon mood. But my stock answer when I'm asked this is in my top films, True Romance. Tarantino script, Christopher Walken and Dennis Hopper on screen together, Patricia Arquetee playing my ideal woman (her qualities that is, call girls arn't my thing...), plus Gary Oldman, Samuel L Jackson, Christian Slater (acting well), James Gandolfini, Brad Pitt, Chris Penn, Tom Sizemore, Val Kilmer... How many other films bring together so many great actors and still produce a great film?

If I was talking to someone who knew their films I would say L'Appartment as they'd know it. Otherwise I can't explain why it's good without ruining the plot, and few people seem to know Monica Bellucci let alone Vincent Cassel or Rohmane Bohringer.
