The unusable parts should be turned into mulch. The Forum Rules Radical Atheist Heathen Queer Let's agree to respect each others views, no matter how wrong yours may be. (Ashleigh Brilliant) |

They're no use to you anyway-your dead-they're rotting. Instead of having htem rot, why not give them to someone who needs em? | modern ape Posts: 64 | They ask you if you would like to be an organ donor when you get a drivers license in the united states. You can go to any DMV to sign up to be an organ donor. I am an organ donor, I figure I wont need them when I am dead and otherwise they will just rot in the ground or burn up in an incinerator. There are many organs that they can harvest that can come from people in poor health such as eyes hands etc. So dont let your health stop you if you would like to become a donor. Make sure that your family knows what your wishes are in relation to your organ donation because as far as I know they need permission from the family to go ahead. People with moral issues about donating their organs are more likely to contact the proper authorities with their negative answer than the average joe would with their permission. I think this would really help with the organ shortage. |

My brain would no doubt fetch big bucks. It's almost unused. (I could have said the same about another organ I rarely make full use of, but I didn't want to be thought rude.)
