Ever want to just smack someone?

Today, I was sitting over at my daughter's school waiting for her to get back from a field trip. The bus rolls in and all the 1st graders are getting off, there's probably a good 50-60 little kids standing around in the parking lot.

One of the parents, who I could only describe as your stereotypical black guy (cornrows, gold tooth, P Diddy t-shirt) was standing there, on his cell phone, very loudly, letting go with an unending stream of profanity that would curdle your toes. He wasn't mad, that was just how he was talking. Everyone just stood there staring at him.

If I had a pipe wrench, I would have smacked him with it. Afterwards, I asked one of the teachers who went on the field trip why they didn't do something, as representative of the school. She said that she couldn't, the guy could just sue the school if anyone said anything to him, including parents.

Some people just deserve to be shot. They're too damn stupid to live.

Jesus loves me? No thanks, I don't swing that way.

I've got a solution. Grow some balls, sprout a dick and stand up for what you believe in. Why did you ask the teachers, do you always have to go to an authority figure to do what you know is right? If a child runs into the road or a drunk falls onto the subway line, are you going to wait till they get hit and then ask why nobody helped?

Where do you live? I'd like to know where this works 9 of 10 times and nobody gets shot.

To other parents: "I am going to ask that man to stop using profanity around our children. Will you stand behind me as I ask him to speak more conventionally?"

Then you are polite and smile and say "Please don't use profanity around our children. I hope you understand..."

If he threatens you, it's assault or terroristic threatening. If he cusses you out or disrespects you, you look in his eyes and say "Don't speak to me that way. I am protecting my daughter from your irresponsible language." Obviously you don't fear the man because you are willing to hit him with a wrench. But that is not the solution; speaking up is.

Actually, I never though about telling an entire rugby team to shut up. I'm not as resilient as I once was. :)

I would have at least clipped the bastards car driving out of the parking lot.

But there seems to be too many people who are like that today. They are rude and stupid in public, on several occasions I have had the urge to just beat the shit out of the stupid fuckers just for general purposes.

By our actions or in-actions we form a part of the community we live in, sometimes fear may hold us back but the only way to beat fear is to take it on, i make a point of bringing to the attention of people who i see park in the disabled parking spots for example

Why do you have your child in the public school system? So they will learn how people are supposed to speak and conduct themselves? Fat chance! So much for the socialization benefit your children get from hobnobbing with that crowd. Leave them in that atmosphere for twelve years and they will either be shot, stabbed, raped, mugged countless times, OR learn how to be just like the creeps!

Well spoken.

I am currently in the middle of a confrontation with some disrespectful buttheads myself. It seems some of my neighbors kids fancy themselves Gangbangers, and have chosen to attempt terrorize the neighborhood by firing guns out the window at all hours of the night to intimidate me for speaking up previously about some of their other wonderful habits.

While the message that the Police are being sent repeatedly to the house ( somebody else is calling them, not me ) has made it back to their absentee Mother, and it has quieted down lately, I suspect it's not going to over until I put a few lumps on somebodies skull.

Fourth of July is right around the corner, and what better camouflage for their covert operations than fireworks in the city. Something tells me this aint over.

People who shoot at me take return fire. The thug life wannabes down the street, and even the real ones that really dont know who their daddy is, leave me alone because they know I have more firepower than their whole crew put together.

Without you to guide them all to Zion?

They didn't shoot at me, but I did see a .25 or, something small being shot out of the window. ( Towards the West, and I'm to the North )

But suffice to say I am taking it quite personally.

If you live in an area where such a request leads to gun play, I would say it is incumbent upon you to move. I most certainly would.

Failing that, a cocked and locked .45 auto can settle such disputes quickly enough. But such would require preparedness and attitude that many do not possess inately. Most people simply don't wish to cause real harm to others.

Very few locales offer such a dramatic response. Lot's of other places to live.

In my area just walking down the street can lead to gun play. It used to be Philadelphia was the regional hotbed of crime and violence but that has changed. I suspect Philly must be overloaded with scumbags and their violent criminal acts so they are now exporting them.
