| Pragmatist Location: UK London Posts: 1,979 | Carbon Credits I was reading an article about carbon credits today in europe and how they issued too many permits....it also got me thinking....what would happen if an environmental group started buying up carbon credits assuming there was alimited supply. If they could do it year on year and force firms to pay huge fines eventually those firms might well try to become more environmentally friendly. I wouldn't recommend sex, drugs and insanity for everyone, but its always worked for me. Never think that war, no matter how necessary, nor how justified, is not a crime." (Ernest Hemingway) |
