NABLMA is not an "illegal" organization. Though I believe they are pretty sick. They have the right to express their opinion. They just don't have the right to boink little boys. Their right to free speech is protected under the first amendment. Some may see this as unfortunate, but I think the protection of our constitutional rights is essential to perserving this republic.

Of course... and I'd encourage any adult that is looking for a similar adult association to find thier local friends and family of LGBT.

Can you only correspond whith someone you want to yell at? You two are having a circular discussion that is lending very little to the debate here, if you would like to continue this exercise in finger pointing how about sparing the rest of us the blow by blow? Or provide sources and links and concrete arguments as opposed to one liners so that others may join in the discussion... if you feel like responding to this post please ensure you also respond to the one above.

If they commit the act of abusing young boys, then yes they are breaking the law.

Didn't say otherwise. However their members have been found to break the law therefore the organization has to be shut down.

They could be prosecuted as a crime ring... if they are promoting such activites.

By all means! I believe that my friends or close friends should have an open mind and learn how to help fellow gay/lesbian students. :) In high school there was no such group on my campus. Finally now in college there is a more tolerant atmosphere and a GLBT club does exist.

No, there have been CIVIL cases against NAMBLA that have consistantly FAILED. Why don't you inform us on the pending "prosecution cases" currently in the works. This should be interesting.

I'm not. I'm defending the Constitution of the United States. There is a difference.

I hate you damn ACLU types. Sometimes freedom of speech needs to be thrown out.

Along with habeas corpus, free press, freedom from unreasonable siezure, right to peaceably assemble, right to petition the government, right to not have an established religion, etc., I assume? (sarcasm)

O, King Gian, we will trust your wise judgements as to which "freedoms" or in your kingdom, "priveleges," are worth preserving.
You are no republican, sir!( small "r")

The ACLU is a joke. Why are you against the first amendment? Why don't you move to Moscow? They'll love you over there!

Yes, it should. Everytime someone says something you don't agree with. But then we'll have to throw it out when YOU say something I don't agree with to be fair. Then it's Roxdog's turn. Then Conservative's.....now none of us can talk, bright one.

Returning to topic:

Yes, I would support my children attending such a club. In fact, there will be hell to pay in my house if my children show intolerance or cruelty to anyone. They will be nice to gays and nerds and everyone and be better people for it.
