I find most of the women who are considered "hot" by society to be quite unattractive, really. And it doesn't strictly have to do with how they look. Most of them are dumb and/or just all-round bad people. But that's fine because the dumb guys love to date them.

The other side of the coin is that I'm often unattracted to so-called "ugly" girls because they are often desperate and overbearing, and are just as often dumb themselves. The only type of "ugly" girl I truly cannot stand are fat girls, because they choose to be the way they are -- and it usually reflects something negative about their personality. I'm sure there are exceptions, but I have yet to meet one.

The bottom line is that I am first and foremost attracted to a girl's personality, and physical characteristics are simply a nice bonus on top of that. I will NOT stick my dick inside a dumb ho, no matter how "hot" she may be.

The friends with benefits is also a good relationship imo. After all what is the point in having friends of the opposite sex if you can't sleep with them? Might as well just have guy friends.

I need more than just friendship to sleep with a man, and I can't be with one who has the freedom to be with others. Even if I could get over the emotional part of it, I couldn't get over the 'cootie' part. Gross!

lol...funny....basically all that stuff is in your head and you have power over it, what you find tasteful or distasteful etc. Its just how you personally are programmed is all. You need more than friendship...I guess thats fair, alcohol helps with that side of things, and what is so 'wrong' about sleeping with just a friend anyway?

I've had several monogomous, and several open relationships, it depends how jealous/possesive the partners are, whether it is sustainable. I've been cheated on in monogomous relationships, and the betrayal of trust is much worse then if we'd just set the ground rules differently at the begining.

Well you can always re-negotiate ground rules at any time so long as both partners agree to them there is no problem. The whole point is you do it before any actions are taken.

Oh I COMPLETELY agree with you once trust is gone the whole thing is screwed never to be regained. The point I was trying to make was your partner should have re-negotiated the ground rules with you first BEFORE going off and having a fling so you both knew what was going on and what new rules you were both playing the game under.

Who said anything about vunerable? Most women are far from vunerable, unless they let themselves be. Don't give them a reason for them to let their guard down and you are generally fine. Flirt, bed and escape in exactly that order.

A hot girl can get sex whenever she wants, her supply of potential partners is very high, making her demand for sex low, unless you can offer beauty, status, money or a combination. An ugly girl on the other hand is constantly demanding sex because she hardly ever gets it, her supply of potential suitors is low, she takes what she can get. More importantly, where you stand as a male (looks, status, money), will determine the quality of the females you bed.

True, but a guy who gets the ladies but is also intellegent will always wonder whether they went to bed with him because of his personality or one of those other factors.

In a way, dating someone who is much hotter than you, or at least someone who has plently of potential suitors, is the only way you can know this for sure.

I think this is one reason I will likely never date an ugly girl.

I would think that getting to sleep with multiple, attractive females would not require a reason.
