Zealot has been banned

We discussed the issues surrounding him, reviewed his posts and decided to ban him.

hey,

Yes, the moderators voted on it, and it was pretty clear after a review that a ban was the right move. We had given him 6 warning points and he still did not try to work with us.

Well I do know that he was getting a little under my skin, but I don't see everything so I trust that the right decision was made.

*shrugs* There's no appeal. He's gone. Some previous posters got suspensions, many moons ago, but if anything that made them worse.

good activity, good contributions, conciousness of the rules, etc. I usually contact you if I want you to moderate.

I'm sorry to see him go but I guess if you guys gave him 6 warnings ... well what can you say.

I adimt I didn't follow a lot of the threads he tended to pursue most though so I didn't really see what happened.

Well he didn't really contribute to any discussion. You just had to see the thread title and the name "zealot" to know what he was going to say. And that's fine, if he had a good way of explaining why he thought the way he did. He never did. He just "was right" "ofcourse". Actually I still suspect him of pretending. I mean, I could create a new account and post the way he did. It's very easy really... He didn't have enough "meat" to actually back up the claims he made, which was what makes me suspicious.

I have to say a final touche' to the Zealot.

I don't think he made me think once, but he made me laugh many times......

Overall I would have to agree with the decision, based on the same thing. He was an antagonist, and rarely if ever had anything constructive in the area of "debate".

I will say though, he did have honesty in his screen name!
