Depending on context they can say fuck or shit. Still, why is "targets a group of people" the criteria for what shouldn't be allowed? In that case you'd have to ban 90% of the commercials because they constantly bash men. Come to think of it that would eliminate most of the shows too.
I don't know, why would what's allowed on television make sense anyway? TV sucks. Read a book :)

Fucking exactly. TV loves to bash men and portray them as inferior. Hell, it's politically incorrect not to. We've all seen a sitcom where some kind of male vs. female theme shows up, but have you ever seen one where the females aren't portrayed as superior?

Watch British TV, there isn't a word you can think of that they'll stop you saying, after 9pm anyway. Johnny Rotten called the British public a bunch of fucking cunts on live TV, only got about 50 complaints, and this is a show that held 50% of the ratings whenever it was shown. We had more complaints about a Yorkie bar ad campaign.

Why banning such words from television anyway(after children's bedtime)? It's just one of the many things I do not understand of the hypocritical American society... Start banning the legitimacy of owning gun's. That's at least a real source of problems.
