If you need faith in order to believe in the existence of your God, then the value of it being any kind of a truth is worthless. Your faith in a the existence of your God has no greater value than any other belief currently held or once held by mankind. What kind of a Christian are you? Don't you know that you aren't saved by leading a "good life"? No amount of good deeds will get you into heaven. You're given grace by accepting Jesus as your savior and repenting your sins. Living a "good life" comes from first being and living up to the standards and ideals Jesus proscribed. You don't live a good life in order to be a good Christian, you live a good life because you ARE a Christian.
