I didn't create the story to prove anything; I was
simply trying to help people to understand it.
Jesus told parables to illustrate spiritual truths and I was
    trying to follow his example.
Well, since the last incident -- or alleged incident -- there's no proof Jesus has been around to tell any ripping good yarns. Where is he? More generally, where is God?

I'd be able to believe him more if he was able to say something to my face, preferably in a verifiable, public manner. Where's the press conference?

    Grandpa h.

Post by post, building his arguments by smashing a couple of theirs -- for America.

Many of you Atheists want God to show up at your Local 7-eleven as a cool dude but I propose if he did that he would not be God now would he?

Huh? If God showed up at the 7-11, why would He not be God?

He would, dent be God cuz people would say. Hey. I can see him. He is just a dude. Me might be able to levitate or heal the sick or predict future events but mortal men can do that too.So why should I pray to him? We don't need him.

You atheists have to consider that if you oppose the possibility of there being a God then there is no evidence that will change your mind. You have to have faith. Peace.

You clearly do not understand the stance of atheists. We do not accept the evidence brought forth by theists for the existence of your god(s). If you need faith in order to believe in the existence of your God, then the value of it being any kind of a truth is worthless. Your faith in a the existence of your God has no greater value than any other belief currently held or once held by mankind. The Abrahamic God will one day be placed in the "Where are they now file" along with the God(s) of former Empires.

The couch potato represents those who make no attempt whatever to live a good life. The one who exercised moderately is like the vast majority of people who make some attempt to live right but don’t consider it the most important thing in life. The athlete stands for those who devote their lives to doing good and hope to earn a place in heaven by the way they live.
What kind of a Christian are you? Don't you know that you aren't saved by leading a "good life"? No amount of good deeds will get you into heaven. You're given grace by accepting Jesus as your savior and repenting your sins. Living a "good life" comes from first being and living up to the standards and ideals Jesus proscribed. You don't live a good life in order to be a good Christian, you live a good life because you ARE a Christian.

I upped my income, up yours.

Believe in him first and he just might do that! Believing only after he proves himself is not believing, now is it?

Worshipping ignorance again, finder? Your claim is that a revelatory experience proved God's existence for you, isn't it?

If the terrain and the map do not agree, follow the terrain.

No, never did & no. I believed, then God revealed himself.

So now what? You can't believe anymore?

I continue to believe in what he disclosed about the after life.

But according to you, believing after He has proved Himself is not believing. Perhaps you misspoke. Saul of Tarsus would have to be doing some explaining to you otherwise.
