Your thoughts on which is more Desirable...

Your thoughts on which is more desirable in life weather it be LOVE, MONEY or HEALTH. You can talk about one or you can put them in order of importance. You can explain why or why not or you could disagree with the question. - Affluence

I'll take health. I can enjoy life without love and money (As I have spent much time doing), but without health, happiness seems fleeting.

I'll probably defy expectations here, but I'll have to disagree and say money. In the culture that surrounds us, you typically need money for love and health. In fact, you need money to relate to society much at all. I wish things were different, but what can I say? Until things actually change, I will be compelled to say money.

Excellent post. I almost said 'money' but I couldn't properly qualify it. You make a great point in that often money = better health. Some cases are exempt of course....but one look at HIV casualties shows quite a disparity in whom survives and why.

Don't you think we are talking more about mental attitude here? It isn't difficult to make money if you are paying attention and are sufficiently critical of the money-system (most ex-marxists become millionaires if they understand their belief), and it is handy to have, but it isn't in itself important. Health is, and so is love. I'd say that a short time in love is better than a long tedious healthy life myself.

Aside from what Grandpa pointed out, in relation to love, one of the greatest schisms in a marriage is often finances.....so....yea

Well Ima start out by saying . Love, Health and Money in that order.

Love is so precious and Ima go out on a limb and say you can't buy it; not true love. Weather its Felia (love with family), Aeros love ( love with a lover), or Agaepe ( the love of God) you really can't put a price tag on it.

Health is obviously important. How can you enjoy life if the physical body is in pain ? We however are built to tolerate some pain and some sickness. Money can definately help with better doctors, more medicine and caregivers. Pay for therapy and more drugs. Money however, doesn't preclude someone of dying of cancer or another debilating disease. Some doctors well argue that love can be the best therapy to cure many mental ills. The therapy of lovemaking. Keep in mind also that healthy living as in whole foods and exorcising can prevent many ills but not all.

I'm surprised you guys say money. It seems so material. Like how much money does it take to make your marriage work ? How much money will it take to buy trust ? ; buy friends ? If you come soon lots of money you may find that you suddenly have lots of friends or even love but see if those people stick around if you loose the money. If your broke you can go on wellfare and food stamps. You can go to the county hospital. True ? Do you need a big house, fancy clothes and other material items to be happy ? Can being happy be a state of mind ? A disposition of choice ?

One of the best arguments for money is that it can give you time. I'm not talking about those who work 60 hours a week to.have their money. I'm speaking of those people who don't have to work a regular 40 hour a week job cuz they have money and know how to maintain it. You can get your time back and engage pursuits of your choosing.

A note on health. Health tends to be high in youth and wane when you grow old. So it'd like a process. It has boundries of sorts.

Money can be an onus of sorts. If you have money you really don't know if your friends and wife/lover are there for the money or if they are there for you. Loose the money and see if they stay. If you have a fine woman with a rich guy you can assume the woman is there for the money. I would say 8 times out of 10 if the guy looses the money he looses the girl as well. But, if you have a fine woman with a poor guy...that is most impressive. She is not there for the money. She is probably there for love. This is why I say you can't buy love. But that's only my opinion. Peace.

This seems like a pretty obvious question. Health off course. Would money or love (which is fleeting) really make up for having something like schizophrenia or being a paraplegic?

Well you're only going to die, whatever. Health for how long, and what do you want to do with it?

Try being a paraplegic with no money. At least if you were a rich paraplegic you could afford the best pornography and a mountain of cocaine. I suppose your dick wouldn't work but porn never really loses it's entertainment value.

I've said it before and I'll say it again....I'd gladly trade each one of my legs for a million dollars. Anyone buyin?

Get out there and sell cocaine like a proper, red-blooded American!
