I am going to suggest something: Don't think of it as "heavier" or "lighter," but as "healthier" and "unhealthier." I've found it easier to cut down on junk food when I think of it as unhealthy. It cuts more to the point. I have a rocky history as far as this goes, but I've cut down at least slightly. I've also started shopping at more than one grocery store, even if only for variety's sake. I can get some healthier stuff from a local co-op.

Well congrats. Lots of luck with losing the weight.

Are you some sort of idiot? This is the general discussion forum, i.e., not a debate forum. I am mostly talking to my many friends who I have come to know on this board over several years. I don't have a "point" to make, but maybe my success will encourage someone else who has a weight problem to make an effort. It takes effort - I have been at it for over three months and have now lost 25 lbs. It is a slow process that requires reduced caloric intake and increased exercise. But that's not a secret, is it?
But, of course, you, a new comer, don't know me or any of the people who have been here for several years - the people who I respect and who have some respect for me, to whom I was addressing my message. You have yet to earn my respect. To date, your posts seem quite trivial and not worthy of respect.
Why be a prick when you don't have to? The better question is what, exactly, is the point you are trying to make?

Indeed. But as far as I have seen so far, yours fall below par. You have to start thinking before you post.
So why is it that you wish to make my posts about my weight loss a topic of discussion? Do you have some evidence that I haven't lost 25 lbs.? Do you doubt it? You have only my word.
Why do you wish to turn this general discussion board into some sort of debate, while you avoid the debate boards. Do you have a point?

Wrong. A lot of the posts on this site are in fact trivial. Do you want examples? My posts do not fall far below par. In fact a lot of times people just provide their opinions. We have atheists in the religion forum arguing that theists believe in an imaginary unicorn. I mean that's actually their argument. Your statement is bullshit and the evidence does not support your nonsensical conclusion.
