    It is indeed a science! There are numerous studies that have provided valid evidence for the proposed mechanisms of evolution. Check out Wikipedia on evolution, the article has great references to scientific studies related to anything about evolution.

    I am glad you agree that asserting the division of any already established field of study into two distinct parts just so you can bash just one of them while disregarding it's supporting evidence in the other is "stupid". :)

    Menwhile in uncomfortable reality, what you call "macroevolution" is just what you call "microevolution" stretched over a large timescale, they exist within the same field of study and can not be separated from eachother. To claim that they are not based on scientific principles betrays nothing more than a lack (or willful refusal) of understanding of the subject matter on your part.

    a better reference is talkorigins. they cover a TON of information, and have a lot of good stuff.
