That might be correct, but at least when something is written down, it doesnt change. especially over decades.

Also, better doesnt mean perfect, or even near impeccable. its still fallable human memory. and we are talking about relying on it for decades, with people forgetting parts or misremembering something else. I mean, lying for god WAS OK'd by people like Eusebius early in christian history. How can we know that those lies were not incorporated into the stories?
Most texts come to us by way of sleepy monks writing in a script that mixed up letters desperately, as in 'make them to be numbered ('numere') with thy saints' by mistake for 'rewarded' ('munere') because in Mediaeval script the words look exactly the same. I don't think people consciously told lies - they just 'corrected' the manuscript to what was obviously true (Jesus was the Messiah, so obviously he was born in Bethlehem, even if he wasn't).

The ? was -- which christianity is the real thing---- some can easily be thrown out--- the ones that teach heaven or hell as an end can be thrown out--Gods word and his son Jesus taught this-- Jesus said--Blessed are the meek for they will inherit the earth--The psalmist wrote--The righteous will possess the earth and reside forever upon it. So to does the religion that Jesus has anything to do with.

The only religion Jesus had anything to do with was Judaism, as he and his disciples were all Jews. All the various Christian religions began well after he died.

Yes Jesus was a Jew, his disciples were as well--- but it is 100% fact they left Judaism and started a new religion--The renting of the banner upon the death of Jesus symbolized the cutting off of the jews from God permanantly. The true religion accepts Jesus as the messiah--judaism does not.

Baloney. Why does not the renting relate to the demise of the priestcraft by placing God not in the temple of stone but in the living temple of the body?

100% fact? There's not even any evidence for Jesus at all. No coins, no other scriptures, no claims from other high priests. You'd think such a prominent character would have at least made enough impact to have his name written somewhere. This is of course discounting the bible, as the bible, I think we can agree, is just nonsense.

As the pattern gets more intricate and subtle, being swept along is no longer enough.

What's evidence to do with myth?

    They're enemies, really.

Because of deception. No need to be.

It's that "internal damnation" that worries me. Acid reflux is bad enough by itself.

The premise if false. Christian is not a religion. It is, rather, an overarching title for a number of religions that share Jesus, the Christ, as a central figure.

Catholic, Protestant, Baptist, Seventh Day Adventist, even, to some extent, Non-denominational are representations of religions.

And within these divisions, there exists substrata, wherein diverging doctrine and even dominance of principals marks separation.

Amazing how the first to cry "You can't blame all Muslims" will be the loudest denounce "Christianity" as a monolith.

The tree of liberty is hungry. Let's feed it well in the next election.

Why do you want to blame any Muslims? Otherwise what you say is true: Christianity is not a religion. The trouble is that most of those who pervert it believe it is.
