    Racial science

Scientists working on race at Los Alamos Institute for racial genetics have made some interesting discoveries about the Chinese, Asian Indians, and North Americans.

Genomic analysis show that the chinese and Indians are susceptible to porphyrin change. Porphyrins are the chemical backbone of cholorophyll and haemoglobin.

Prof. Jack Stance says "We have often wondered why the chinese are yellow. This is because in China, most edible vegetables have little chlorophyll. The chinese eat pale stalks and things floating on ponds. To counteract the lack of vitamins the chinese are beginning to photosynthesise, just like plants. Unfortunately, they have not yet developed the right colour green so still aren't getting the vitamins. This is why the chinese are yellow with short legs".

The Prof. continues, "The Indians are brown with bulging eyes because they eat lots of curry. Their green vegetables are always going off in the heat, so they curry it. By continually eating curry they are beginning to evolve to look like curry. This is known as genomic symmetry.

Finally, the Prof. examines the Americans. "The Americans have small heads, big bellies, and arthritis. This is because they believe in free enterprise and free enterprise wants them to keep eating. This has nothing to do with porphyrins but is down to backward evolution.

The Prof. says that only the Welsh have escaped the ravages of our physical world. This is because the welsh wind blows fresh, invigorating, across mountains covered with life-giving purple berries, blowing through welsh hair that is as natural as the seas that crash wildly against welsh shores.

Of course. I can see that you are impressed with this article so I will certainly send you the references as soon as I get back from holiday. I composed the post from notes Imade from my files. All my files are at home. I am typing this in the airport.

In the meantime, you can rest assured that what you are reading is true, and I can answer any questions you have about it. Thanks for your interest.

If this is Prof. Jack Stance's best shot at describng chinese cusine then i am going with the theory that he hasn't a clue.

I'm really sorry I don't have the references for this yet, I will be home soon, as soon as the bus turns up - we hope!

Anyway, I think it's obvious, at least to the British, that the Chinese have few green vegetables, and are evolutionary ill because of it. Bamboo shoots, beansprouts, and waterchestnuts are common chinese vegetables and are all pale, and float or grow in ponds.

Unsurprisingly, the Los Alamos Institute For Racial Genetics does NOT EXIST and the article is obviously a joke.

    Thread moved.

It has nothing to do with being impressed, and everything to do with ensuring that the forum is used for debate properly. I'm a moderator, and when you're asked for links, it's to ensure you comply with the rules of the forum. I suggest you read the rules, and comply with them post haste. .

Sorry to the moderators about the repported lack of references.

Though I think that my refeernce to Los Alamos Institute for racial genetics and a direct quote from the man in charge - Professor Jack Stance, who is here with me now, in person,
    - HAS MET THE QUOTING CRITERIA!

If you wait, I will get him to answer your questions personally, but he has gone to the toilet. If he's not quick he will miss the bus. You upset him you know. I don't think he ought to respond to your sort.
