When have I ever defended communism? If you continue to make this basic error I shall start referring to you as a fascist.

And you ignored the second question.

Since the Nazis signed a pact with Finland, does this mean the Nazis where democratic?

No offence, shrike, but are you smoking something particularly potent this evening? Seeing any pink elephants or flying saucers?

I would have thought that a European like yourself would have realized by now that national socialism is indeed a leftist ideal. Sure hope you're not trying to equate socialism with right wing capitalism. Break down the two words National and Socialist as with National Socialist as you have the epitome of that ideal right here in obama.

It wouldn't surprise me if you thought that grits are groceries and that Santa wears pink leotards.

And don't forget that the Earth is flat. Stands to reason, don't it?

No, what stands to reason is that all of America's comparisons of our capitalist run economy to that of a socialist economy happens to be with most of the European nations. Even the EU (European Union) tells us that those united nations in Europe reek of a socialist one continent type of plan for a unionized (socialized) economy. There is nothing independent or capitalist about your beloved Europe. I do give you guys credit for at least entertaining the idea of having your continent run by Sharia Law instead of by your on going National Socialist governments. Woops, spoke too soon. Looks like you've already adopted or coerced into accepting Sharia Law in much of Europe already.

Individual freedoms? Says the man with the slavery avatar.

Maybe a better question for this thread would be as the second world war was a fight against Fascism, then how could any WW2 vet be a conservative?

Far be it for me a kind and gentle person to accuse you of being ignorant, but a fascist rejects individualism and justifies the totalitarian state. What part of Conservativism do you see rejecting the individual entreprenuerial spirit while advocating for the total government control of its economy, i.e. 'totalitarian' style ideology? Its hard to debate you lefties when most of you are still learning basic civics 101.

Oh dear Libby, you are a funny one.

I think you mistake history for dogma. No surprise there.

    From his own words.

The fact that the Curia is now making its peace with Fascism shows that the Vatican trusts the new political realities far more than did the former liberal democracy with which it could not come to terms. ...The fact that the Catholic Church has come to an agreement with Fascist Italy ...proves beyond doubt that the Fascist world of ideas is closer to Christianity than those of Jewish liberalism or even atheistic Marxism...

    - Adolf Hitler in an article in the Völkischer Beobachter, February 29, 1929, on the new Lateran Treaty between Mussolini's fascist government and the Vatican
    That damned leftist Marxist LMAO.

I must assure him, I speak with a non-forked tongue. I don't think they would necessarily feel "pain" to realize this.
