Nope, .........I really don't see a pattern here to justify profiling, do you?

So, to ensure we Americans never offend anyone, particularly fanatics intent on killing us, airport security screeners will no longer be allowed to profile certain people. They must conduct random searches of 80-year-old women, little kids, airline pilots with proper identification, secret agents who are members of the President's security detail, 85-year old Congressmen with metal hips, and Medal of Honor winning and former Governor Joe Foss, but leave Muslim Males between the ages 17 and 40 alone because of profiling.

Let's send this to as many people as we can so that the Gloria Aldreds and other dunder-headed attorneys along with Federal Justices that want to thwart common sense, feel doubly ashamed of themselves - if they have any such sense.

As the writer of the award winning story "Forrest Gump" so aptly put it, Stupid is as stupid does."

Twelve examples. And their are even more. But realistically you could do twelve and more exampes of Blacks comitting violent crimes, and Hispanics with gang violence, and Itallians with organized crime, and lots of white european types who seem to have the majority of serial killers in their group.

I, for one, agree that Muslim extremeists have been one of the major enemies to civilization for about 30 years now.
They have openly declared Jihad against pretty much everyone else.

I have trouble believing that Muslims or people of the mid-eastern races are any more responsible than Itallians for the Mafia or Euros for serial killers or hispanics for gang violence.

However you do make a very valid point. Globally the Muslim extremeists will eventually bring the rest of the world around to thier Jihad mentality just out of self defense.

And then all Muslims will bear the brunt.

I believe the REAL solution has to come from within the Muslim world itself. Civilized Muslims must make a stand to save themselves. There is not nearly enough military nor even rehtorical opposition to the extremeists.

The reason for this seems to be 3 fold:
1. The leaders (both political and religious) lose support if they speak out too boldly againts the Jihad.
2. Their is fear of the terrorist retaliation even within the Muslim world.
3. There is a lot of sympathy for the Jihad, even among non extremeists due to propaganda and education in the Muslim world.

This will have to be overcome in order for the Muslim world to survive. Sooner or later WMD will be gained by the wrong Muslim's. Once those are used I believe the gloves will be off and the Muslim world will suddenly see their Jihad come to fruition.

They will be on the recieving end of the wrath of the entire non-Muslim world, and all of the WMDs will be used. Then the Muslim world will become a deser..... um.... even more of a desert.

I think profiling is just another tool in preventing bad things from happening. Screw the attitude of being so scared of being labeled racist that you spend ten times the resources and time, and end up with worse results, instead of just using common sense. Pure statistical facts should guide the way of doing checks on people, not political correctness that in itself is idiotic.

Why not just search everyone? Wouldn't that same everyone the effort of having to worry about being racist, and keep it more safe?

No doubt someone could make up a simular list for CIA realated happenings.

However we no doubt would also claim that the secret missions of the CIA that were violent do not represent the wishes of our whole population - perhaps not even the majority of us.

By that same standard we can hardly stereotype all Islamic people because of the violent deeds of a few of their more radical people.

Likewise we could make a list of bad things done in the name of the Christian crusades and the our concepts of a manifested destiny which targeted native tribes throughout north and south America.

Likewise we can even make a negaitive list of bad things done in the name of science. Or in the name of progress and capitolism, or in the name free speech.

If we eliminated all those people who might be on our black lists we could perhaps reduce the total population of the world by about 75 percent. Leaving only good folks like me (smile).
Because I am so lazy I never get much involved.

We keep advocating the motto "never again" but the violent people are not listening.

I am reminded of that old gossple song sung down in the cotton fields "there's a man goin' around, takin' names, takin' names" and so we make our list, check it twice, to make sure who was naughty or nice - and send it off to Santa the saint hoping that Christmas will bring justice, only to find out they all got toys anyway.

My point is pointless.
