Let him figure it out, why mess with natural selection?

Isn’t it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?

That's the thing that throws people off. You do have to pay them to receive the knowledge and training.

So lets just start off like this.

Say you are a millionaire and money doesn't matter.

Would you pay to find out?

Here is something amazing, though to get you a scoop of what you may not know. There are people in Scientology that sign a Billion Year Contract with them yes thats 1,000,000,000 years. That is after you die. I would not kid about this. Peace.

I'm not sure why that would be a put off. Doesn't working for a high school diploma mean you've earned something of value? That you've "paid your dues?" How many free doctor's schools would have graduates that are swamped with patients? There is precedent in thinking that something of value demands value in exchange. I don't understand why charging for something puts people off.

Of course there might be some overcharging going on. I could understand that.

Scientology and The Secret advertise to pull in those who are not satisfied or want more of, ... whatever. If I've good tasting cheap tap water available why buy expensive bottled water from a store? Advertising?

"Man is constantly changing or introducing new names and terminologies to describe this Science. The Masters were called Sants, and the nature of knowledge Mat, thus giving us the term 'Sant-Mat', which is at present mostly used to name the Path of the Masters. Other terms, such as Shabd Yoga, Surat Shabd Yoga, Sehaj Yoga, are also used to describe the same Science. In the Sanskrit language, the word 'Sant' means Master of the highest Order, and 'Mat' is a confirmed opinion or statement made by an adept after personal experience. The foundation of this Science, therefore, is the result of a critical study, minute investigation, and the lifelong personal verification of facts based on practical experience of the Self in man. This experience of the Self is something that a competent Master is prepared to give to each individual who approaches him. Sant Mat, therefore, is the teaching, system and path of the Saints.

The Masters do not attach any importance to names, designations, or the fact that many religious sects, groups and circles, have claimed this Science as their own and named it after their leaders or founders. They look upon these groups as schools where man—the noblest being in Creation—can study with other men as children of one and the same Almighty Father. A Master (also called Sant Satguru), has complete mastery of both the theory and practice, and is competent to impart both knowledge and experience to all sincere seekers after Truth, without any distinction whatsoever of colour, caste or creed. Any man or woman, whether rich or poor, young or old, sage or sinner, learned or unlearned, who is able to grasp the theory of the Science, has a right to acquire this knowledge." ~ Kirpal Singh Man, Know Thyself

How would trading something of no value (possibly being money to a rich man) be cause to think one be deserving something of value? Just how does that rich man get the training? Give it all away? Hmm. Is the problem with what is valued? Or is it the attachment to that which is deemed valuable?

Though all that is taught is available for those who have ears, once caught there is a responsibility to refrain from casting pearls before swine or giving loaded guns to children. Charging a fee is a start to culling the wheat from the chaff. Time was I used to charge a six pack of Busch, plus costs, for an hour of instruction. Of course my price for the gals tended to be slightly different than my price for the guys.

If the terrain and the map do not agree, follow the terrain.

Great paper but don't you know that distant-past theories trump current observations?

hell yeah they do! plus entire storehouses filled with fossils all dating back eons, all reinforcing the theory in its own little way... In a sense we have storehouses filled with evidence.

    Am I dreaming?
Or am I just walking in my sleep?
    I don't believe in...
Anything you want me to be.
    But I believe in me.

Are those the same fossils in which many are showing soft-tissue in the bone when broken/cut apart despite being around for 75+ million years?

Also the same fossils that naturalists refuse to carbon date because there is "no point" since carbon dating only has a range of only 50-60k years, yet creationists have and come up with young dates?

    ... many? Evidence.

There's other elements you can use that go back farther quest. anything radioactive like carbon 14 will work.

You rely on these fossils to protect you from an otherwise angry God and you don't even know about this issue?

Google it yourself and get back to me, eh?
