Shows how much you know about guns, and hunting. A hunk of lead goes into the deer's heart, and it dies. You butcher the heart out, and remove the bullet. Gunpowder explodes in the barrel, and shoots out about 5 feet.

Actually, shows how much you know about what bullets do when they impact something. Bullets used for hunting usually are soft point or hollow point. Soft point bullets usually have exposed lead, and expand on impact - meaning that the meat hit by the bullet is rather tainted, not to mention any meat the bullet itself is caught in. Hollow point is similar, but more jacketed. If you want a clean meat taste, use FMJ, though that's probably going to go through the animal and a tree or two beyond it, meaning the animal's probably going to run away a few miles before bleeding to death.

For my taste, I'd rather you used a machete.

Hollow point actually expands in flight :B. Anyway, as far as deer go where I come from, you can only use a bow, or black powder (which is basically a musket, lol).

In the UK most parks that have deer for hunting will only let you hunt if you can prove to be a good shot, so you hit the head. If you take a carcass away with hits from other areas you'll be banned from the park.

Anyway bow hunting is better, have to get a lot closer, which means more fun in the stalking department. Hunting with rifles always seems unfair.

the best hunting is done with large boulders and Acme rockets...
just ask Wile E. Coyote...

at my school there is a veggie club called "sea-ark" that had a "demonstration" the other day.

i think personally they were embarrassing themselvesm running around with signs of pigs saying "why eat me?"

i'm a vegetarian. i'm also a card-carrying member of peta (which isn't exactly something i'm proud of.) peta is a joke. it's as if they value the life of animals more than humans and tend to take things a bit too far to express their thoughts and beliefs. i'm a vegetarian because if i can do something to prolong my life, i'm going to do it.

You should stay at home more to begin with.

Anyway, I didn't know vegetarians had longer life spans, I always thought a balanced diet (including meat as we evolved to be omnivores) was part of it.

Well my aunt is having really bad health problems as a vegetarian because of the low iron intake, but she still won't budge back to meat.

when i say prolong my life, i'm speaking for me personally. what works for one person may not work for another and meat consumption is something that does more harm for my body than good.

Well I suppose you need to take mineral and amino acids supplements?
