Strangely easy to do with one's head buried in the sand.

    I agree. We don't.

We are doomed to eternal subjugation under our oligarchic masters, in much the same way those within all previous civilizations were held under the sway of chieftains, shamans, medicine men, theocrats, emporers, monarchs.

The American constitutional experiment was an anomaly in human endeavor... borne upon fertile ground due to unique, never-to-be-repeated circumstances of a collision of civilizations of vastly different technology, sparseness of population--one possessing widespread literacy and a pioneering spirit and history of self-rule, set upon a vast terrain abundant with natural resources, fresh water and navigable rivers...
All to be laid waste by the lie of socialism spread by usurpers selfish enough to sacrifice the economic and cultural futures of their descendants for the transitory gain to be had by the printing of false money.

I just would like people to recognize it and be honest about it.
Now, this I can agree with. Up to the point of blaming 'socialism' for the horrors wrought by unchecked, slobbering.. drooling greed - capitalist greed. Like a raging fire without a furnace to keep it in check.

The period after WWII up until the murders of JFK, RFK, and MLK, was our best hope for a future. Nixon began the tremendous shift.. back to the wild freewheeling laissez faire type of America that the pigs (capitalist) enjoyed for so many years.

This does not seem what La7 intended as the topic. I think it is more likely direct & indirect realism vs idealism. So.. ta-ta.. adios..
