    We don't have a choice

We don't have a choice. We have thoughts, feelings, desires and eros only. Each time we think in certain areas of contents

The idea of choice implies equal contents of the consciousness for each variant, that is impossible

What could be equal contents of the consciousness?

Isn’t it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?

Since we know nothing about the member posting the OP, personal speculation is useless at best, a rule violation at worst. If you have nothing of substance to contribute, please refrain from posting.

Lol, okay Jack. I'll play ball.

The contents of consciousness are like... the essence of Nirvana, Man.

Please don't apply this logic while crossing a busy street.

Yukon, don't be ignorant or rude. Some people just have different default moods. This link describes like half the stoners I know and about a quarter of the non-stoners.

    Comics - Explosm.net

Do we have real choices? Sort of. A human may exercise his or her willpower... or not. Do we have a choice over when we exercise willpower? Probably not. However in a larger sense our universe does contain things that are truly random hence nothing is completely predictable hence you can't always tell what people will do next. 'Course, you can make pretty good guesses...

The more you complain, the less I care about your problems.

Rude? I didn't think it was insulting enough to be rude but if he took it to heart I'm sorry.

consciousness is a weird thing, When I think about it to hard I almost lose it. get this foreign feeling that is my body. I can't do that high, so sorry again.

You have to admit though, if you look at this guys threads he's a little farther off the charlatan. No disrespect meant by that by the way, the world needs dreamers.

    I agree. We don't.

We are doomed to eternal subjugation under our oligarchic masters, in much the same way those within all previous civilizations were held under the sway of chieftains, shamans, medicine men, theocrats, emporers, monarchs.

The American constitutional experiment was an anomaly in human endeavor... borne upon fertile ground due to unique, never-to-be-repeated circumstances of a collision of civilizations of vastly different technology, sparseness of population--one possessing widespread literacy and a pioneering spirit and history of self-rule, set upon a vast terrain abundant with natural resources, fresh water and navigable rivers...
All to be laid waste by the lie of socialism spread by usurpers selfish enough to sacrifice the economic and cultural futures of their descendants for the transitory gain to be had by the printing of false money.

I just would like people to recognize it and be honest about it.

    My choice:

I kicked off my shoes and felt the good earth under my feet
I loosened my tie and saw what it feels like to breathe
I found the secret to life
I took some time for livin'

I took off my watch and found I had all the time in the world
I opened my arms so I could hold life like a beautiful girl
I laid down all of my hangups forever
    Hey look, I've changed
    My attitude's been rearranged
From now on I'm taking some

Time for livin', groovin' on everything
Life is givin', from now on I'm taking
    Time...
    For life

Too busy to stop and notice the things that are real
Embarassed to talk about all the things that I feel
It's so strange never noticed the world all around me
    Hey look, I've changed
    My attitude's been rearranged
From now on I'm taking some

Time for livin', groovin' on everything
Life is givin', from now on I'm taking
    Time...For life..!!!

    Thanx to The Association

Strangely easy to do with one's head buried in the sand.
