A false accuser would have to perjure himself at trial, malicious prosecution is a crime in the US, action may arise against abuse of process.

When I saw the title of this thread, various thoughts came to mind, the top one being that it will probably make many Americans proud.

I can forgive Americans all sorts of things, as generally they tend to be ignorant and uninformed, along with somewhat short-sighted enthusiasm. Like children, but then, it's a young country I guess.

One thing that does disgust me, and many others, is how Americans do not merely fail to take effective action on prison rape but seem to celebrate it. It's hard to comprehend how a supposedly civil society, based around a constitution that bans cruel punishment, seems so damn enthusiastic at the idea of people being raped.

It's beyond making jokes, many seriously, genuinely LIKE the idea of those imprisoned being sexually abused.

Likewise if one watches American porn, which I do though I prefer European, one finds an intense pre-occupation with anal sex. It seems somehow impossible for an American (porn actor) to simply shag a woman, without having to shove his penis into her anus.

Perfectly good woman - up her ass? What is it with you freaks and anal sex?

I can only presume, seeing as it is the only significant difference between Europeans and American men, that it's due to you being circumcised? That removes the majority, over 60%, of the specialist sexual nerves in the penis.

I guess you have to butt-f*** each other, or you can't really feel much?

Thanks for that, Orangutan. It's good to see that you are not "ignorant and uninformed",

I can only presume, seeing as it is the only significant difference between Europeans and American men, that it's due to you being circumcised? That removes the majority, over 60%, of the specialist sexual nerves in the penis.
I guess that explains why so many Europeans suffer from premature ejaculation, huh? Who would have thought that the simple process of circumcision would make you a better lover?

There is only one right answer and, yet, you still argue with me..

I'm the proof that evolution works...

You're the proof that it doesn't.

Didn't realize most united statians were circumcised, thought this was a Jewish practice, had no idea it had any effect on penile sensitivity either.

Yeps, most of the physical pleasure comes from the foreskin gliding over the glans.

It has nerves that are not found anywhere else, in fact it is the only part of the human body that can directly feel moisure (as opposed to simply slippery or cold or whatever)

The glans, or knob, is actually quite insensitive, only feeling changes in temperature, pressure and pain. It has no direct pleasure nerves. Try scratching a fingernail over it and you'll see - you feel almost nothing until it hurts. The foreskin, if you have one, is WAY more sensitive and feels distinct pleasure if stimulated by almost anything, pulling, scratching, rubbing, whatever.

The primary reason it started in the US was to deliberately reduce the pleasure of sex, that's the whole idea of it, though you'll hear a lot of myths too.

The top 2 myths are "hygiene" (ironic, considering the foreskin produces smegma, the body's natural antiobiotic...) and "prevents aids!", which is a bit of a joke really.

The whole "prevents aids!" thing is a long-running saga.

Every now and then, typically every 2 years, a "new study!!" will "find" that male genital mutilation "helps prevent HIV infections" blah blah. Then a bunch of scientists and docs will examine the study, point out all the holes and faux 'research' and the "study" fades from view. Two years later...

"Circumcision reduces infection rate of HIV, study shows"

Again, only to be shot down, again.

Never forget, the human foreskin is about the only legal means of gathering large samples of healthy human skin tissue. Do you know how much that's worth? Seriously, it's a huge industry. By weight the stuff is worth more than gold.

To further the chuckles, US doctors will actually CHARGE you for amputating it!

What, you think they throw it in the bin? Well I guess some do..?

"the most sensitive regions in the uncircumcised penis are those removed by circumcision".

Oh and the premature thing? I laughed because I already knew of this but the same link:

    "For women, having a male
partner with a foreskin increased the duration
and comfort of coitus and increased the
likelihood of achieving single and multiple
    orgasms [8]."

Numerous studies have found the same, in fact there's some religious text somewhere, can't recall which religion, but basically says something about women who sleep with uncircumcised infidels often don't want to go back to Mr Missing.

I know a lot about this stuff as I used to campaign about it, long time ago when I gave a ^&$% about Americans and their problems. Sexual abuse in prisons too - but like I said, I've come to realise Americans LIKE the idea of sexual abuse and rape, so why bother?

    O.

PS, if the study is too heavy going, here's an easy read overview:

    NOCIRC - Touch Test

The results confirmed that the frenulum and ridged band of the inner foreskin are highly erogenous structures that are routinely removed by circumcision, leaving the penis with one-fourth the fine-touch sensitivity it originally possessed." Five sites on the penis-all regularly removed by circumcision-are more sensitive than the most sensitive site remaining on the circumcised penis. Researcher pediatrician and statistician Robert Van Howe said, "Oddly, the most sensitive site on the circumcised penis is the circumcision scar itself."

There's a thread that already discusses circumcisions here:

Foreskin is the explination for premature ejaculation

While I am Canadian, and I do agree with the views towards Anal Sex in porn, as it's not my cup of tea either..... I am also circumcised and I have no use for anal sex as regular is perfectly fine and i have no personal issues for performance in such a way that you describe.

While you spout off all sorts of studies and reports, you have an ignorant viewpoint on circumcisions and their actual effects on an individual, to the point where your generalizations are somewhat foolish.

Anyways, this isn't really the topic, nor does this report just focus on males being raped, but prisoners in general being raped, which means it doesn't always relate to anal sex, let alone men.... although they may attribute to a good % of the report, a little better accuracy and a rant that actually relates to the topic would be nice.

If you wish to continue this discussion on circumcisions, please feel free to venture into my previously provided link to the topic that has already been started.

I'm not sure what this has to do with prison rape, so I'll only say that if you have anal sex, it doesn't necessarily mean you're part-gay or that you have major psychological
problems. And to the question of whether or not it is always akin to rape, the answer is "no." I'm no expert on the topic (or on anything sexual)...just figured I'd throw in my two cents.

    O.
It's the sexual repression of xianity. Hard-right-wing-cons (who are often hard-core-xians) have a bullies mentality and believe in using force whenever possible.

Now on to your rant about anal sex. You should probably seek some sexual counseling for your sexual hang-ups and why you feel so ashamed about other people's sex lives.

You're actually fairly ignorant of the topic of circumcision. Maybe I'll start a thread so we don't derail this one...
