Jinei seems to forget that physics tells her brain what to do - the agglomerated, happenstance accumulation of billions of years of physics - which is all "jinei" is - tells her brain what to write. If that accumulation of physics tells "jinei" to write "I love Jesus and you're going to hell", why, that is what "jinei" will write. If it compels "jinei" to write "IONGOEIJFJFBVEUHO" and believe that he/she has quoted Shakespeare, then that is what will happen.

You see, these materialists/physicalists are experiencing a cognitive dissonance; they don't understand that the ramification of their perspective is that nothing they say or do amounts to anything more than the rustling of leaves in a tree, but expect to be taken seriously by others, as if some other "jinei" existed that was in control of what he/she writes, beyond the mere effect of an accumulation of physics. On the one hand, they claim to be nothing ore than animated physical automotons without free will, but then claim the ability to be able to make objective, meaningful, FREE evaluations, observations, and comments.

Under your view, you wrote what you wrote for exactly the same reason anyone writes what they write, why a dog barks, and why leaves rustle in the wind: sequences of physics. There is no "you" there, above and beyond, able to assess, evaluate, examine, or abrogate the sequence; "you" are the sequence, as are we, but you appeal to us, and refer to yourself, as if "someone" was in charge of writing the sequences, fact-checking them, error-checking them, and capable of altering the programming, output, or interpretatiosn of information fed to it.

There is no one at the helm, sir, from your perspective; who are you appealing to? The Great Machine? Are you appealing to Lord Physics to get others to see your point, or change their mind? It makes as much sense to walk into the back yard, talk to the grass, and hope that a resulting chain of connected physical reactions will result in your boss giving you a raise that day. When you talk to others, you are appealing to billions of years and deep, complex physics, and nothing more; do you expect your words to magically press all the right physics buttons to generate the reaction you wish?'
