OK. This thread (which no doubt has already been moved to Butterface) is MY THREAD. I will get to the discussion point momentarily, however, there are a few sub-rules I’d like to append to the Volconvo rules just for use in THIS thread.

IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH THESE RULES THEN PLEASE DON’T POST HERE. YOU’LL ONLY BE DISRUPTIVE.

1- You may NOT mention Bush, Kerry or the USA in any way, shape, or form. I’m sick of hearing you guys bicker about it. I don’t care. It’s over 3,500 miles away from me and you ain’t attacked us yet so I’m not worried. (besides the RAF and SAS would make mincemeat out of your crummy 19yr old marines)

2- NO one line posts (however amusing they are)

3- No posting without active URL links to your sources. If you have no sources then you MUST say it is YOUR personal OPINION. If you can’t supply sources then you probably dreamt it or something so DON'T POST IT!!!

That’s it. Only 3. Not so hard is it? … hmm well I guess we’ll see. .. ..


In this thread it is however totally cool to change the topic to avoid threadrot. I want to encourage full and frank debate about the wider issues in the world. I also wish to encourgae people to ASK QUESTIONS. I don't see why people should be expected to turn up with all the answers. Discussion should be to help us make up our minds, not to ram our beliefs down other people's throats.

I wouldnt go so far as to say our Marines couldnt completely annihilate you. Our Marines are the best regulars. Now, your special forces might be some serious competition, guess what, that are out numbered probably 100:1, and air power? Geez, we have the F/A-18, AV-8B and soon the JSF.

Nuclear weapons.

Most countries have enough nuclear armaments to destroy each other. Even Israel, the relatively-newbie in the nuclear race, can turn the US into a smoking hole (leaving only the people of Utah alive).

Marines, special forces, death squads, commandos, bah. All pale in comparison to the big bang II.

Oh sorry, I meant "most countries with nuclear armaments", not most countries.

But well, England/US both have nukes, so the marines vs British calvary is void since they'd nuke each other to oblivion.
