Without Science, Prove This Life Is Real!!

Since many rely only on scientific data, documentation etc. to define their reality and refuse to believe any other kind of evidance, I thought it may be interesting and thought stimulating to see how anyone would go about convincing me that this supposed reality we are all experiencing is actually real or provable or true without using scientific data. Look at it as an exercise and try to humor me.

I could raise you as a child on a distant Pacific island, insulate you from any outside influence, and tell you this is reality as your eyes see it. As the only influence in your life who would you believe but me

What do you say to an atheist who sneezes?

The purpose of science is to try and get some knowledge about reality.
It would seem a useful tool for such a purpose. What are you offering as "any other kind of evidence"?

I'd kinda be answering my own thread to some degree if I answered that.

I don't want to answer it myself.

Then I can only think that this must be a question directed at theists and other fringe groups that rely on mysticism to explain reality.

Actually I'd like it if the science only mainstream herd would attempt to stretch themselves a bit and see if they can come up with any other type of evidence besides what's in a science book.

I'll simplify for you. Say you are living long long ago, one of the first humans (or you could say one of the first intelligent humans if you happen to believe people came from monkeys). Your fellow man asks you to explain how you know you even exist. How do you know you are alive? How do you know you are here? How do you know any of this is real?

That should be pretty easy for you to come up with some kind of response to I would think.

What does that even mean -- "without science"?

    critical thinking
    learning how to learn
    reading comprehension
    deductive reasoning
    problem solving
    honesty
    organization
    logic

are all basic tenets of science. All of which are related to "evidence", "documentation, and "data".

You can't prove something without actually participating in any of those skills I listed. So what exactly to you expect us to even do here?

"One objection that many critics have is the problem of logistics. However, with technologically advanced aircraft at His disposal, transportation for Jesus was NEVER a problem" ---- loser

Ok, well for anyone who is tired of the same old pointless circle, tail chasing debates that get recycled over and over again, who would like to try something new and step outside your comfort zone of boring recycled arguments for a moment. Please take a look at this thread and try to contribute an actual meaningful response so we can have an interesting discussion/debate that may lead somewhere we haven't all been a hundred times before! I'll be waiting to hear from you. To those who would rather poke insults at anything that threatens to drag you outside your "head in the sand" debating style just stick to what you know on the countless other threads that will go back and forth with completely predictable jargon regurgitated over and over never to make you feel threatened that you may have to actually look at something in a new way. Thanks
