A recent McCain ad features phrases and images which seem to reference the Left Behind series of books. The Time article discusses the ad and the apparently widespread fear that Obama may actually be the Antichrist.
I see two possibilities;
- Some Christians have completely let their religion take over reason
- The Democrats are mistaken
What do you think and do any of you actually believe in a literal Antichrist as described in Revelations ?

Obama is not the Antichrist. Holy Tradition gives number of very specific clues enabling Christians to recognise The Antichrist.
1. He must be a jew.
2. He must be crowned in the rebuild temple in Jerusalem.
3. His activities must mirror activities of The Christ (start preaching at 30 etc.)
There rae other signs as well. Clearly Obama is no the Antichrist, he is of course his spiritual servant.

More people have been accused of being the Antichrist than you could possibly imagine. But I think when he shows up, we'll know.
If Obama somehow manages to unite the world under a single government, I'll start taking a second glance. Though I think that's a bit beyond him.
I go with some people are morons. I think Obama means to do good, is a moral individual and cares about his country and people in general. However, I think he is very misguided on his fiscal policies, illegal immigration, drilling and his views on the role of government.
Some people are morons. Worse, many smart people are reduced to being morons by following religious ideas... such as someone being an "antichrist". The power of religion has always been and will always be the ability to make well adjusted intelligent rational individuals honestly believe unintelligent irrational idiocy. This is no different. The fact that we're even having this conversation... the fact that apparently some people actually believe Obama could be the antichrist... is nothing short of a crisis.

Basically everybody who the religious right does not like becomes the Antichrist, For Real This Time. Wasn't there a group that went after John Kerry, and Al Gore before that? What's truly moronic is that they keep recycling the same chunk of fail over and over again. Could you at least start a creative internet rumor like that he doesn't like garlic, drinks human blood and never goes outside without sunblock?

I'll worry the day Obama talks about a one world government. It's the only reasonable way he'd get any kind of ceremony held in Jerusalem.

Well I've actually debated this topic elsewhere to the point of there being no point. I heard a convincing narrative, but it's unlikely in my book, as I see Revelations not as "the end times" but more as Christianities' ingenious founders back-up scheme for a time such as that which is coming when the world will be close to being united, and Christianity (as well as a few other key religions) will no longer serve any purpose.
This is the information age, and it truly is a double-edged sword with things like the internet, where anyone can come and create a theory and spread it.
Ultimately, it's poor campaigning (not to mention in bad taste) for someone to say something blatant like "he's the AC". Though I give them points for being bold. The situation is right, the world is about to be united (NAU, EU, and the soon-to-be Asian union), and people are beginning to realize all that is being fought for is lies, and that the fight is simply meant to be prolonged to keep the consensus' attention away from the workings men behind the curtains.
And it's all been working quite well thus far, all is indeed going according to plan. To claim the black guy who seems to stand against such a regime? lol
If you're gonna call someone today the AC, at least say it's Ron Paul lmfao
...Just kidding. I'm not a Christian, so really it doesn't matter. It's not my problem either way. Any other NWO is better than the one that is already being created (though everyone else is pointedly evading the topics that prove so).
